"There are two G's at Cleveland Clinic, God and Gosta Pettersson" ~nurse practitioner
In 2014, I began feeling 'lack of blood,' or dizziness during meetings or policy studies at New York LIfe. I blamed my 3-8-2000 disabling car accident and brain-injury for those episodes.
But not long after I resigned, I began falling, no warning, with severe weakness. An August 2015 doctor visit lead to finding a severely leaky aortic heart valve, with a 25% mortality rate per year.
Since I work on my cars, I searched for the best surgeon at repairing leaks in valves. Prosthetic valve replacement required blood thinners and made threat of incessant bleeding from any cut.
I prayerfully journeyed with wife to Our Lady of Peace Cathedral's Damien and Marianne relics. In research, I found Dr. Gosta Pettersson, who proposed the experimental Ozaki procedure.
I signed off the study paperwork, and went under knife and saw. Following surgery the stethoscope 'swishing sound' of my leak was completely gone.
Thank God for Drs. Gosta Pettersson and Ozaki.

We know not our time left. I could have died young as a cousin from asthma, or another on motorcycle.
But when here by gifts of science, I am obliged to commit my own science to safety for all I can help.
